We believe that wearing a school uniform is an important part of being a student here at The Harbour School. School uniforms create a sense of belonging, unity, and pride among our students. When everyone is dressed alike, it promotes equality and helps to reduce distractions, allowing students to focus on their learning.

Wearing a school uniform also fosters a positive school environment. By dressing in uniform, students represent our school both inside and outside the campus, demonstrating respect for our values and traditions.

Additionally, school uniforms simplify the process of getting ready for school each day and eliminate the pressure to keep up with the latest fashion trends. This ensures that students can concentrate on their studies without worrying about what to wear.

We appreciate your support in ensuring that your child comes to school dressed in the required uniform each day. Together, we can uphold the importance of school pride and unity while creating a conducive environment for learning and growth.

In addition, we understand that some students may have medical needs or circumstances that require adjustments to the standard uniform, and we are committed to making reasonable accommodations to ensure all students feel comfortable and supported.

Thank you for being part of our school community!

Our school uniform for the summer term 2024 is as follows:

  • Plain jumper with no large logos
  • Black school trousers, tracksuit bottoms or school appropriate skirts
  • Any shoes or trainers (no open shoe/crocs)
